We start every Agency GPS engagement with a detailed set of questions that starts a deep dive into your business so that we begin with a shared understanding of the challenges and opportunities.

Agenda Planning
We work with each client to customize the Agency GPS process to their most immediate needs. We use the answers to the initial questionnaire, plus preliminary conversations with the agency owner, to develop a clear agenda for all work sessions.

On-Site or Virtual Work Sessions
Whether we conduct our meetings on-site at your agency, off-site, or via video conference, we spend many hours reviewing the state of your business and starting to plan for the future.

Key Conversations
In addition to the agency owner work sessions, we identify key employees and other individuals to have confidential 1-on-1 and group conversations. Often, we uncover insights that the owner may have overlooked.

Report Card and Roadmap
Based on the information we gather through all of the work sessions and data-gathering, we reflect on what is working — and what isn’t. Then we make suggestions for improvements.

Frequently Asked Questions

The typical engagement starts with an investment between $5,000 and $15,000. The exact cost depends on the number of owners and employees, the location of the work sessions (on-site, off-site, or virtual), and any customizations to the process. 

We typically require upfront payment for the Agency GPS process. However, we offer payment plans for clients who pair the initial GPS project with a commitment to ongoing Agency Whisperer advisory services at the conclusion of the audit and planning process. This ensures greater support for implementation while allowing the agency owner to spread out the total investment over a longer time period.

Once you make your initial deposit, we can lock in the exact schedule. Typically, we give owners about 2 weeks to respond to the initial questionnaire. We space out these engagements to ensure each agency receives intensive focus, but most work sessions can be scheduled within 4-6 weeks of the deposit.

Most Agency GPS engagements are completed within 60-90 days of the initial commitment. After that, we remain available for a couple of months to follow up on implementation.
